Promote it by getting people together that you know how have a clan in a game that is pretty popular and offer them a place to organize and communicate outside of the game. This is where we can start to pick up the pace.

Once people draw attention from their games, each section can belong to certain game clan owners (one huge section for Dota / LOL, Rust, Rainbow Six, CS:GO, all that happy horse shit)

Someone can possible host or run a server in those game sections, like Rust or Minecraft, or ArmA.

Have them set up donations for in game goodies or features like we had with SG, but the donations go through this website which in turn generates it's own support to pay for the forum hosting.

Divvy up the remainder to the top performing game sections and help them keep their server hosting alive by paying part of the hosting bill or upgrading the server host to accommodate more traffic.

Pocket the rest, or add it to the bottom line and save it to keep a fund for emergency funding in case someone needs it to keep the place buzzing.


I almost did this when I left SG and joined a General Gaming Community called DigiRev with a few friends of mine that played Soldier Front 2 We were the second biggest clan and we were #1 in overall recruitment. When we left (abusive admins, who eventually banned us for blowing the whistle with the main owner) they took a huge downfall, but eventually got back on their feet as newer more popular games were released.


It's all about making the commitment to get setup and spreading your feelers. This won't work unless you reach out and bring people in. Give them part of the forums to run (like sectional mods with more permissions IN THOSE SECTIONS).


I can run a TS server and then hand it over to you when/if this takes off and can be supported by the server/community income.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
