I don't have time to push this out as fast as I'd like but I'm going to be working on it while I have time.

Many of you played my last server "Great Kourend" and that's going to be the base of this server. The plan is to recreate SilabGarza on a modern source.

I'd like to switch the forums to something like myBB as well because of better plugin support, however that's a huge task.

I asked the discord without much luck, so I'll post here too.

Travis and I are not against doing something server related however we're both extremely busy, I'm personally willing to hire someone (preferably one of you) to do some work for us.

Things would include but not limited to: placing objects, creating teleports, adding monsters and their drops, adding shops, tinkering prices, other odd jobs.

I have created scripts for automating some of those things.

Don't be afraid to hit me up if you've only taken like programming classes and have no real world experience, I don't expect you to do anything complicated especially with unfamiliar code.

Here's some stuffs

  • The Gambler has been readded to ::home (2.5m max bet for non-donors)
  • Slayer system slightly tweaked
  • --Assigned amounts redone to be more realistic (ie: no more 1 goblin)
  • --Revenant's/Battle Mage tasks can kill any of that type to count towards task
  • Dragon Boots added to vote shop as per request
  • ::yell has been reactivated to the public as server isn't as big anyways
  • Range related drops added to Elf Ranger @ Island
  • Rune Kiteshield now available from the supply shop as well
  • Kalphite queen's drop table completely redone to be more worthwhile
  • Tormented Demon will now have a small chance of hitting through prayer
  • Tarn's Dad has had his combat damage slightly nerfed to be fair + won't immediately hit you upon entry to area + tele sequence instead of forced tele to get to area
  • NPC dimension formula has had more monsters/boss' added into for consideration for npc pathing.
  • Revenents will no longer drop PVP statuettes for PK Points as per request
  • Agro distance for lvl 90 rangers + jad increase for Fire Cape minigame
  • Decanting potions won't randomly give you extra noted vials anymore



Lot's of small things that people have told me about, bigger things coming soon

A bit backed up from the weekend and lack of sleep but here's some quickies

  • Banking has been slightly rewritten
  • >Moving items to new different tab won't switch tabs anymore
  • >Depositing items won't reset slider position anymore

  • NPC following issue where you run back and forth fixed.

  • Mining glitch where it randomly stops you after a few ores has been fixed.

  • Decanter has been fixed and now will also be able to decant noted potions.

  • Dag's agro distance reduced significantly.

  • Reset Defence is now only 1m instead of 5m due to different economy.

  • Tokkul drops raised from 100 -> 200 per occurance.

  • Rev Vampire drops weren't proper, modified to be in tune with others.

  • Herblore + Agility ingame skill guides redone/fixed.

Was raining way too hard tonight so stayed in, and it's almost 3am so done for tonight Confusedleep:

  • NPC auto retaliate + following npc mechanics have been completely rewritten for smoother PvM.

  • Red chin's now will give 25% bonus xp after lvl 85 & 50% + bonus loot at lvl 95 Hunt.

  • You can now note/unnote Raw Rocktail's.

  • Prayer vs PvM won't be as affective against higher tier monsters such as Rev's + Wyrm's.

  • Wrym's attack power has been boosted along with poison amounts raised.

  • Alching noted items will now give proper item value's instead of only 1gp.

  • Ava's accumalator reworked to not save Chinchompa's anymore.

  • Nurse' dialogues have been fixed + prayer refill fixed.

  • Soulsplit curse prayer will now heal more realistically during PvM.

  • Vine Whip now has special bar + special attack.

  • Bando's boots + new Tier85 boots have had their stat's corrected.

Anyways, here's some updates for those who care

Jungle Strykewyms have been added - (Ragefire/Glaiven/Steadfast Boots = rare drops)
-> These will have a 10% chance of poisoning you while in combat, magic based attack.
-> Magic attacks have a 40% chance of being blocked by prayer (otherwise 50% damage while praying)
-> To get here, far west from hunting grounds (::hunt) (or slayer ring teleport)

Nurse Sarah has been added near the prayer altar at home
->Every 10 minutes you can use her to remove your skull, tb, poison, and refill your spec/hp/pray (this may be tweaked as needed in future)

Slayer ring now has teleport options when rubbed (mith drags, chaos dwarfs, jungle strykes, etc)

::skull has been added as per request to obtain a skull at any time

Operating Jewelry will now actually work again (ie: glory/duel ring/games neck/slayer ring)

GWD Boss respawn timers have been increased to help give time to clear minions

Superzone skilling bug has been patched (teleporting to zone after starting skill for boosted xp)

Tormented demon moved slightly west to get off the hill (as per request)

Barrow's, Dragon, Mithril gloves added to supply shop @ ::shops

Hunter traps can no longer be placed on existing objects to remove stuff

New boots now have 85 def requirement + their stats

Grey Chincompa's will now explode on impact like red's but not as powerful

Seems people are still interested in server to the point where there's a lot of negativity towards my absence. So, cancelled my plans for today to pump out some updates.

Here's some of the latest:

  • Major combat bug regarding melee after magic cast has been fixed.
  • Auto-retaliate won't move you if you're frozen and opponent under you anymore.
  • Multi-hitting attacks from boss' will now actually do damage to the players (ie: corp stomp).
  • Gear switching has been severely improved and shouldn't have as much failures/delays anymore.
  • Item values adjusted for item protection (ie: claws/ags)
  • A hopefully unkown exploit regarding the red topaz' has been patched.
  • ::guides will now open the proper link instead of a dead page.
  • Red + Normal chins attack speeds fixed + now actually have their stats.
  • Manta fishing animation has been switched to harpoon animation.

+ some work on soon to be released new client (stuff no1 cares about)

and my work is about to move to another location so been stuck staying late to help prepare for that and stay
caught up on my actual job. at the end of the day, my real job is much more viable than SG and this is something
I do in my free-time. I still plan on trying to be active on here but seeing an inactive forum each day after work

Happy new year, here's some updates

- Farming plants won't get diseased as frequent anymore.
- Leveling up won't stop your actions anymore when skilling.
- Voting page issues have been fixed/resolved.
- Claiming donation rewards has been fixed/resolved.
- Donation page has had prices redone, sprites fixed, style fixed, etc
- Colored + Abby Whips have been fixed/resolved.
- Mithril dragons animations have been fixed/resolved.
- Highscores + Wikipedia pages are back up and running.
- Chinchompa's range bonus' have been added (red + grey).
- Levelup interfaces have been fixed for: Str/Farm/Thieve/HP.
- When unjailed you will now go to the new home area.
