Players gone?!

We're working on pretty big updates, which is why it's taking so long.

And if you have suggestions, either PM me them, or post them in the suggestion section. I'm always glad to see a new idea for the server. Well, aslong as it isn't a dumb idea that would ruin the concept of the game like 'make infinite runes in shops' or 'make money easier'
the runes are limited for a reason, gives a need for runecrafting and no1 would be able to buy/sell runes if they were unlimited.
make money easier you say? money gaining is too easy right now in my opinion, i'm thinking of doing something with the thieving stalls to reduce the amount of autoing, oh wait, actually i just remembered of one of the major updates i've been working on, which is to reduce autoing/afking/etc

but anyways, main reasons i can think of that is killing the server
1) The site was under massive DDoS and Flooding attacks once the month started, making it impossible for people to get on the webclient, causing people to think the servers gone/offline
2) Well winter break ended and people are having trouble playing and being active in school, i've been busy just trying to get back on my normal sleep clock, and stuff like that
3) eh all i can think of for now

also i saw someone barragin and it wasnt even freezing the person. dno if that was a one off but it wouldnt surprise me if it wasnt.

and how would voting affect how many players we have? surely it just means that less NEW players would join, shouldnt affect the fact that everyone is leaving cos its borin. u dont even need to do updates, just fkin simple things like gettin rid of the fact you cant dds spec properly and spec timing in general.

i would vote if u maybe added something to forums to make you want to vote

for example, something that says in the high scores for forums: top voter of month, year and stuff

this wil show who really votes and it could also give you points on forums.

i know the max votes for 1 person is 30 a month so alot will be tied with that but still.

Britt i will post my opinion about this topic,

Firstly there should be some rewards such as points or something different then cash because most of players are voting for cash and now the cash is kinda useless,

Secondly those events hide n seek and such they are not fun for everyone and most players thinks different like there is no point voting if the reward will be for 1-3 players only,

So the overall would be to add more rewards such as points for voting because im sure players would vote more you could try adding it and if you dont see a change you can remove it,

You're kinda dumb.. you only have to typ ::vote ingame and it all hapends for you.. you only need to enter your username and a voting code. And you even get a 25M cash reward, what do you want more..

Anyway, i understand Brit and Gir are doing the best they can to give us new updates, but it is shocking to see how big the server is changed on a week time..
The amount of players is reduced by almoste 50%, i'm dcing every 10mins even if i'm using the 3.7 version ( this might just be a coincidence.) and nearly every nice player is quiting because they think the old RS is coming back, which i think jagex will never do..

I played 5months, did maxed total lvl, had everything what i wanted and pked alot. Now im bored like a nub who sitting 24/7 in ::trade, thats sucks . Do Reset and you get tons of more people.
